Today was Holocaust Memorial Day and we have been holding a series of activities this week to remember the victims of the Holocaust. Mrs Folan and Mr McNally led Acts of Worship with focus on the Holocaust and the lessons to be learned that are relevant for today’s world. Rachel held a number of liturgies in the Upper Room this week. At 11 o’clock today we held a two-minute silence with each class focusing on an image of one of the victims during that time.
If you play a wind or brass instrument we want you to join us! We meet on Wednesday lunchtimes in Room 19 (Mr Quenby‘s room).
Playing in a group is brilliant for teamwork, listening to each other, and building self-confidence, plus you get a chance to show off your amazing skills in public. If you have any questions, please feel free to speak to one of us.
